Internship offer: Assistant product manager // Ref: 1510-MKT

émoi émoi (www.emoi-emoi.com or Instagram.com/emoi_emoi) is an online concept store for young and future mothers, created in 2010 by Adèle Bounine and Nathalie Fargeon. On their site they offer a sophisticated selection of specialist clothes, unearthed from the four corners of the world, in an elegant and feminine environment. Very quickly, the number of happy customers grew and many came to join the active community of émoi émoi ambassadors.

In 2014 émoi émoi launched its first collection of ‘Maman Poule’ and ‘Maman Cool’ sweatshirts. Several thousand pieces sold in a few hours and the founders therefore decided to launch a range dedicated to mums, dads and families. Their fourth collection will be unveiled in September 2015. Since its launch, the business has seen rapid growth. Joining émoi émoi would mean joining a dynamic and ambitious start-up business.

Your role:

Liaising with the Artistic Director and company founder, you will work on every aspect of the émoi émoi brand dedicated to family – from its creation to its online release, including communication:

Creation and production: Participate in creative brainstorms, attend briefing meetings with suppliers and follow production, schedule and organise partnerships

Editing and e-merchandising: edit content for the online shop (product files, uploads of product photos and videos, etc.), participate in organising photo shoots, highlight and rank products

Communication: Propose communication strategies for the brands and products, edit articles for ‘le Mag’, participate in press relations with the press office, manage partnerships with bloggers and organise events.

Reporting: Follow and analyse sales and site traffic, measure the efficiency of communication strategies and suggest improvements.

Ideal Profile:

In higher education, ideally for a degree in marketing or commerce, with previous business experience.

Skills: Proficiency with a range of computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet), excellent editorial skills with perfect spelling and grammar. Confident with Excel. Autonomous, thorough and trustworthy. Confident in proposing ideas and taking the initiative. Interested in fashion and e-commerce, and looking to take part in an ambitious business adventure.

Contract: Paid internship, full-time

Start date: October 2015

Duration: 6 months
