It is November 2014. A few days after my son’s birth. Between two family visits and caring for our little wonder, I find the time to log on to the Rosemood website. It’s there that I come across their gorgeous birth announcements, all different but equally charming and fashionable. A far cry from the classic navy-blue or fuchsia-pink capital letters of the old days! Their announcements are printed in the Rosemood workshop in Nantes and sent without delay, on high-quality paper in colourful envelopes. But what really caught my eye was Rosemood’s attentive customer service. One Marie-Laetitia replied within the hour to each of my muddled, sleep-deprived emails asking her to change the font, a colour, the positioning of the photo, the line-spacing… All the changes I asked for were made with care; they will advise you and make the announcements as pretty as possible. The icing on the cake is that each announcement is read over by a member of the Rosemood team, to avoid any spelling mistakes that exhausted new parents might make.
Here at émoi émoi, we love Rosemood. A few months ago, when its founder Hélène Germain sent us an adorable package full of pretty cards and kind gestures, we jumped for joy! That’s how we came to design a collection of birth announcements for her, in shades of navy blue and gold. They are decorated with our new “la vie est belle en famille” pattern, designed by our illustrator Jeanne to evoke little moments of daily happiness and the joy of being together. The Rosemood x émoi émoi birth announcements are now available on Rosemood’s website.
